Recently rapper, actor, and business mogul 50 Cent hopped on the popular live-stream mobile app Hang w/ to connect with his followers and answer their questions. While streaming live one Hang w/ fan asked 50 “are you broke?” alluding to recent news of the star filing for bankruptcy. For the first time 50 responds by saying “Only a broke ***** would ask me if I’m broke…” going on to explaining what Chapter 11 bankruptcy means, assuring his fans he still has plenty of money in the bank.
He says he is not broke. He tells the fan he doesn’t know what bankruptcy is…he goes on to basically tell the fan hi is stupid.
Hang w/ is one of 50 Cent many investments and he remains one of the apps biggest supporters recently refusing to attend his own show Power’s season finale event hosted by live streaming competitor Periscope. 50 instead invited his fans to join him on Hang w/ for a live stream of his own Power finale party held on the rooftop of NYC’s Bar 13 this past August 16th. Here 50 live streamed an exclusive performance of his newest single “9 shots”.
