After much speculation as to the winning property, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have finally settled on a home to buy in Bel Air, CA. The 8,662-square-foot estate is sure to have more than enough room for the growing family — in case you’ve been living under a rock the past few months, Kardashian is pregnant with her first child with Kanye — but in proper celebrity fashion, this impressive home is already on its way to a full Italian-style renovation.
The Mediterranean-inspired home features two stories, five bedrooms, seven baths, a library, elevator, pool, wine cellar, and large walk-in closets. According to Redfin, the 2010 mansion sits on a 3/4 acre parcel and shows off some pretty great vista views, which are apparent in the photos. The home’s entrance features impressive black walnut parquet floors, leading to a living room with high ceilings. While the mansion’s interior is lovely, it’s the backyard’s views and stonework pool that appears to end on the cliff’s edge that really pulled me in.
According to TMZ, the couple has already gutted the $9 million mansion and are planning on expanding it to 14,000 square feet. The new plans include a gym, movie theater, salon, basketball court, bowling alley, and an indoor pool. The private gated community is also home to Jennifer Anniston, Chris Paul, and Joe Francis.
