With 17 nominations, FX’s Gothic Mini-series American Horror: Asylum with Jessica Lange was the top nominated series. HBO’s Game of Thrones was a close second with 16 nominations. HBO garnered 108 nods, 27 more than last year. SHOWTIME received the most Lead Actor nominations of any network with nominees in all four Lead Actor/Actress Series Categories.
