Amy Schumer I love you but didn’t understand why you wanted to be in a Barbie movie at all.
The comedian and actress has dropped out of Sony’s Barbie where she was to play the iconic doll.
Amy released a statement saying, “Sadly, I’m no longer able to commit to Barbie due to scheduling conflicts. The film has so much promise, and Sony and Mattel have been great partners. I’m bummed, but look forward to seeing Barbie on the big screen.”
Could anyone else see her playing Barbie….I could if she was making fun of her.
The project also is currently without a director.
“We respect and support Amy’s decision,” said a Sony spokesperson. “We look forward to bringing Barbie to the world and sharing updates on casting and filmmakers soon.”
