Well, well, well, I would certainly hate to see Mr. Affleck vehemently mad at something that actually matters!! During the first episode of HBO’s “Any Given Wednesday’, hosted by Bill Simmons (formerly from ESPN), Affleck essentially lost his mind over the semi-recent “deflate-gate” controversy regarding his buddy, Tom Brady.
Look, I’m all for the occasional, and passionate rant about something near and dear to one’s heart, however, what’s seen here just looks like a guy that either woke up on the wrong side of the bed, or started to drink very early in the morning (or both maybe). Funnily enough, Simmons claimed after the show aired that Ben hadn’t had anything to drink prior to his appearance on the program. Right!, but to be fair, let’s take a look at the clip and decide for ourselves, shall we?:
Good grief!, enough F-Bombs for the new Batman? I can sympathize with making a point, but did the guy really need to accentuate every point with “f-this, f-that”, etc?? I think not, and although I’m not a fan of judging people at their worst moments, I’d say this takes the taco for Affleck’s worst moment on any form of TV or film (including Gigli, ha!)
Regardless of my views, please, tell us below what your impressions were of this epic rant!! Nuff said.
