The fourth man to fill this comedic counterpart to James will be Ben Whishaw. Known for his role in Perfume and played along side Craig in 2004’s Layer Cake.

He will be following John Cleese who equipped Bond with gadgets in Pierce Brosnan‘s last two bond films, Tomorrow Never Dies and The World is Not Enough. However, the most recognizable Q actor would undoubtedly by 16 Bond film veteran who appeared next to every actor to wield the Walter-K PP7, Desmond Llewelyn. He of course never got the chance to act alongside Craig who has given Bond new life.

The Bond Franchise recently sold out the martini “shaken not stirred,” in order to promote Heineken, but fans will be very pleased to see an element missing from the newest era of Bond put back into its rightful place.
