CBS’s solid sitcom will march forward. CBS has brought the cast and crew back for another season. It has not been reported that this will be the last season for the show but for all you fans you have a guaranteed thirteen episodes.
Deadline Hollywood offers an insight into the negotiations with, “The order ends weeks of intense talks between CBS and Rules producer Sony Pictures TV that could not be concluded by the network’s upfront presentation last Wednesday.” It wasn’t a given that “Rules” would return but their television life will last at least till they reach the 100 episode mark, which will happen on the seventh season’s thirteen episode.
