The tattoo you see on Chris’s left bicep is a Taurus, his mom’s birth sign. On his right arm is a symbol for “family” and the word “loyalty”, and on his stomach, just above his six-pack is inked “In Loving Memory, Bardsley, With Me Always,” a tribute to his best buddy, Matt, who died in an off-roading accident in November of 2003. Plus, on his right ankle are the letters S, C and S – for Chris’ siblings, Scott, Carly and Shanna.
Despite his rising fame in hollywood, he hasn’t gotten every role he’s gone after. “I really wanted to be a part of Milk but I lost out to James Franco,” he admits. “I guess if you’ve got to lose, he’s the guy to lose to.” Evans also read for the lead part in Elizabethtown, but lost out to Orlando Bloom.
