If you were too busy to catch the first season of the action adventure Arrow, CWTV – Wednesdays at 8 PM EST, there is plenty of time to catch up before the second season. Arrow  just re-ran the premiere episode this past Wednesday, and it’s available on Infinity.

Arrow is a superhero/drama/mystery/action adventure. He is based on the fictional hero, Green Arrow from DC comics, but billionaire playboy Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell), is no cartoon. He’s part James Bond, part Superman, part Batman,  and part all-man.

The series was developed by Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, and Andrew Kreisberg.

Arrow begins with Oliver being rescued after being stranded five-years on a hostile island. He is the only survivor from the shipwreck (possibly sabotaged), of his father’s yacht, that took the life of his Dad and his girlfriend Laurel’s sister Sara, with whom he was having an affair. Before his Dad dies he asks that Oliver cleanse the city he founded (Sterling City) from crime and corruption and to avenge his death. Oliver becomes a secret vigilante, a futuristic Robin Hood.

The first episode was first class.  The sets are glamorous and powerful. Every effort is made  to transport you to another world. The dialogue is believable and filled with emotion and intrigue.
