It’s with utter shock to report that Erin Moran, who played ‘Joanie’ on the iconic TV series ‘Happy Days’, past away earlier this evening at the awfully young age of 56. TMZ first reported the news roughly 2 hours ago, and in that article the following was highlighted: The Harrison County, Indiana, sheriff’s office told NBC News that dispatchers got a 911 call for an unresponsive female at 4:07 p.m. Saturday and first responders found Moran deceased.
Later, Henry Winkler, aka ‘The Fonz’, who was Moran’s co-star during the entire run of Happy Days, had this reaction to her death on Twitter–
No word yet on the exact cause of death according to the Sheriff’s office in Indiana. Nevertheless, our thoughts go out to Erin’s friends and family during this trying time.
