Ridley Scott’s Exodus: Gods and Kings  and Paul Thomas Anderson’s Inherent Vice make it a tough choice for your theater ticket this weekend.

Christian Bale plays Moses in Ridley Scott’s Exodus: God’s and Kings to Joel Edgarton’s Pharaoh just in time for the holidays. The character once played by Charlton Heston is now in the hands of Christian Bale. We all know the story of Moses leading his people out of slavery in Egypt to the Ten Commandments and the Holy Land. The reviews are good, garnering a 6.7 in IMDB Pro.

Inherent Vice has scored an 8.2 on IMDB Pro and has picked up a SAG nomination for Joaquin Phoenix as  hazy marijuana smoking detective Doc Sportello. His ex-girlfriend, now involved with a wealthy real-estate tycoon, goes missing and Joaquin takes the case, but is also a suspect.
