The Backstreet Boys released a new song today off their new anticipated album with the same name, which hits stores everywhere on July 30.

The bands’ Twitter page tweeted fans the news earlier, saying they couldn’t wait anymore to release the song.

“In a World Like This” is the second single off the album, after “Permanent Stain”. It is also the title of the boy band’s world tour, which kicks off in August. The band released the track list for their album last night. That can be viewed on their web site.

Gavin Degraw debuted his latest single, “Best I Ever Had”, today, after teasing fans last week that he had a “big” announcement.

The singer tweeted to fans today about the single.

Leonardo DiCaprio has once again teamed up with legendary director Martin Scorcese in the movie The Wolf of Wall Street. 

The movie is based on Jordan Belfort’s best-selling memoirThe Wolf of Wall Street. The movie chronicles Belfort’s rise and fall on Wall Street, along with his partying lifestyle and personal life.

The trailer shows crazy antics like chimps in the office, money flying everywhere and a lot of partying.

The movie also stars Jonah Hill and Matthew McConaughey.

More is never enough for Belfort.

The Wolf of Wall Street is due in theaters Nov. 15, 2013.

Britney Spears debuted her latest single, “Ooh La La” this morning on On Air With Ryan Seacrest. The song is part of the Smurfs 2 soundtrack and is dedicated to Spears’ two sons, who love the smurfs.

A demo version of the song leaked a month ago but Brit was sure to clear up the fact that it was just a demo. She took to Twitter to tell fans that the song would debut on June 16 (today).

@britneyspears: “I heard an early demo of #OohLaLa smurfed its way onto the internet today The real version will be at radio and iTunes June 16th “

During her interview with Ryan, Britney said that the phrase “Ooh LaLa” doesn’t have a particular meaning, but that it’s a feeling.

“I think it doesn’t really certainly mean a certain phrase or anything, but it’s about feeling good. Like you make me feel like ‘ooh la la’ like when a guy makes you giddy… it’s more of a feeling.”

Spears first revealed that she’d be doing a song for the Smurfs sequel back in January when she tweeted fans.

@britneyspears: “Remember that surprise song I recorded for my boys? It’s coming soon! “Ooh La La” for The Smurfs 2 :) Stay tuned for more…”

The pop princess said in a statement in April her reasoning behind the project.

 ”I have always loved the Smurfs as a kid and now my boys are the biggest Smurfs fans EVER. I wanted to surprise them with a song in the movie. I know they’ll think it’s Smurftastic!”

The music video for “Ooh LaLa” will be released in a few weeks. It was filmed last week, and included Spears’ boys.

“They play themselves. They see mommy on the screen and get all excited”, Spears told Ryan.  ”I was in hair and make-up when they did their thing so when I first saw it it was on film and they were right on their mark.”

She tweeted a photo from the video shoot and said how excited her sons were.

Superman flick Man of Steel took the top spot at the box office this weekend, earning $125.1 million. This is the biggest June opening of all time.  The film currently has a $196.6M global total, with $71.6M earnings overseas.

Coming in strong at No. 2 was Seth Rogen‘s directorial debut This Is the End, also starring James Franco and Jonah Hill, which brought in $32.81 million in its first week of release. It brought in $20.5M for the weekend.

Taking the number three spot was Now You See Me, starring Jesse Eisenberg,Mark Ruffalo, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher, and Dave Franco, with $10.32 million and a $80.01M domestic total.

Star Trek Into Darkness broke records as well, taking in $412.1M globally, with $201.7M overseas.

Great Gatsby also did quite well with a $300.2M global total.

What did YOU see this weekend?!?

I hit the red carpet last week for the opening of Priscilla Queen of the Desert at the Pantages Theater in Los Angeles. It was a great night we talked to so many people including: The cast of the show Bryan West, Scott Willis, Wade McCollum and Joe Hart. Along with them was, Adam Shankman (So You Think You Can Dance), Lea Thompson (Switched at Birth), Sondra Currie (The Hangover Part III and Love Thy Neighbor) and Masiela Lusha (The George Lopez Show).

Priscilla Queen of the Desert was an Australian movie that has been made into a musical and has been delighting audiences all over now.

This show is so outrageously fun! You will be singing along in your seat and up dancing at the end. Priscilla Queen of the Desert features a hit parade of dance-floor favorites including “It’s Raining Men,” “Finally” and “I Will Survive.”

MAN OF STEEL

With an all star cast, including Lawrence Fishburne, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, and Amy Adams, this latest installment of Superman is sure to blast through the ratings. There are already talks of  studio predictions in the $100 million range. The story follows the story of Kal-El, aka Clark Kent, aka Superman (Henry Cavill), an alien born on the planet Krypton sent to Earth by his parents as a baby. After discovering his super-human abilities as a child, Clark keeps them a secret and tries to lead a semi-normal life.

Have you ever wanted to see what would happen if some of Hollywood’s top actors had a party? Add in an apocalypse, and you’ve got it. Having opened Wednesday, this comedy is already being deemed as “hilarious”.  Starring James Franco and Seth Rogan, this comedy includes cameos from Michael Cera, Emma Watson, and  Rihanna, among others.  The flick tells the story of a bunch of celebrity friends trapped in Franco’s Hollywood Hills home during a series of strange, world-ending events. The core cast consists of Franco, Rogen, Craig Robinson, Jonah Hill, Danny McBride, and Jay Baruchel (all of whom play “themselves”).

THE BLING RING 

Starring Emma Watson, this movie tells the true story of five teenagers-turned-burglars who targeted the lavish pads of celebrities in 2008, including Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan. The group, including  Alexis Neiers, who starred in the short-lived E! reality series Pretty Wild, with her family, found celebs via the internet and then robbed them.

The film is directed by Oscar award winning writer and director Sofia Coppola and based on a Vanity Fair article by Nancy Jo Sales. It is also the first movie Watson has done that is NOT based on a book.
