Hot on the heels of an MTV Video Music Award nomination for “Work From Home” for Best Collaboration Video, pop supergroup FIFTH HARMONY kicked off the highly-anticipated North American leg of their 7/27 Tour this week to the excitement of thousands of eagerly-awaiting fans. The chart-topping sensations played a hit-fueled set featuring songs from their sophomore album 7/27, as well as fan-favorites from their debut album Reflection, both released via Syco Music/Epic Records.

The tour, promoted by Live Nation, kicked off in Manchester, NH at the Verizon Wireless Arena on the namesake date of their sophomore album 7/27 with explosive performances of their multiplatinum summer anthem, “Work from Home,” which hit #1 on the pop & rhythmic charts, and the feel-good second single, “All in My Head (Flex)” which is rapidly climbing the charts; the track currently sits at #13 on the Top 40 chart and Top 25 on Billboard’s Hot 100. The group brought their dynamic show to Boston, MA the next night – the tour continues tonight in Fairfax, VA at the EagleBank Arena.

The 7/27 Tour promises fans an exceptional live experience, with all-new production and custom-designed performance outfits by renowned designer Michael Costello, to get Harmonizers on their feet.

The 7/27 Tour will continue through 25+ cities across North America including Los Angeles, Brooklyn, Chicago, Boston, Atlanta, Dallas and more. The show also features an opening set by chart-topping R&B singer JoJo. Tickets for the 7/27 Tour are on sale now at http://www.livenation.com/artists/107701/fifth-harmony.

When purchasing a ticket, fans will also have the opportunity to make a voluntary donation to Urban Fitness 911, a Los Angeles non-profit dedicated to promoting health, fitness, and academic skills in low-income communities. Donation amounts will range from $1-$15, with all proceeds going directly to UF911. In March, Fifth Harmony visited King Drew High School in Compton, CA for a Q&A session with students in the UF911 program. More information about the program can be found at www.urbanfitness911.com.

In addition to their VMA nomination – the group’s third consecutive nomination in three years – the group is nominated for eight Teen Choice Awards this weekend, including Choice Summer Tour and Choice Summer Song for “Work From Home.” Last night, Fifth Harmony appeared on ABC’s Greatest Hits series to celebrate the music of 2000-2005 with a medley of Destiny’s Child’s most beloved songs. The band also made history this week by becoming the first girl group to pass a billion views of a single music video on YouTube for their 2015 smash hit single, “Worth It.”
