First Look at Season 5 of Orange is the New Black!!

If you’re like me you binged Orange is the New Black last year and have been waiting and waiting for season 5 to come.

It ended on a cliffhanger when the inmates of Lithfield revolted against the new guards who killed Poussey and made their lives a living hell.

Daya took matters in her own hands when she got a gun and held it up to a guards head with many prisoners encouraging her to shoot.

The trailer got me all giddy even though it’s not all happy. It opens where it left off with Daya deciding whether she wants to shoot the guard. Piper (Taylor Schilling) and Alex (Laura Prepon) are trying to avoid all drama when they come upon this riot and then you hear a bang.

Along with the new trailer there have been new pictures released for the upcoming season.

Big Boo and Doggett – aka “Pennsatucky” – inside the commissary, undoubtedly raiding the supplies after the riot.
Taystee is seen with Cindy and her crew in what seems to be Caputo’s office.
Crazy Eyes was badly hurt after being forced into a fight by the guard that Daya might shoot
It seems like the guards got the riot under control as Piper and Alex are on the floor.

Orange Is the New Black season 5 debuts Friday, June 9 on Netflix.
