For DANIEL DAY-LEWIS,THIRD TIMES A CHARM!

Winner of SAG Outstanding Leading Male Daniel Day-Lewis for Lincoln

Nominated for BEST ACTOR for his passionate and emotional portrayal of the 2013 BEST FILM NOMINEE – LINCOLN, a win would make DDL the first actor in history to win THREE OSCARS! The first in  1989 for MY LEFT FOOT, the second in 2008 for THERE WILL BE BLOOD.

DDL has already taken home the 2013 BEST ACTOR AWARD from SAG, the GOLDEN GLOBES, THE MONTECITO, and his fourth BAFTA!

From the time Daniel first appeared in SUNDAY BLOODY SUNDAY, at age 14, he has been a shining star in the Hollywood sky.

Born into a theatrical family, his father was CECIL DAY-LEWIS, Poet-Laureate of England, and close personal friend of the real Lawrence of Arabia. His mother was iconic actress and radio personality, JILL BALCON, daughter of Sir Michael Balcon, the fabled British Film producer.

DDL has dedicated his proceeds for LINCOLN to the WICKLOW HOSPICE FOUNDATION in his native Ireland. The LINCOLN European premiere was held at the SAVOY CINEMA in Dublin, followed by a ball with an auction of the films props and memorabilia, with all proceeds going to the Foundation as well.

Whatever surprises the OSCARS may bring, it will be DANIEL DAY-LEWIS lighting up the heavens on February 24, 2013!
