Jay Leno canceled Thursday and Friday’s tapings of The Tonight Show because of illness.
It is very rare for the talk show host to miss a show. This guy is a work-a-holic.
Leno was driven to the hospital Thursday. He was not taken by ambulance, a spokesperson for Leno told Access Hollywood.
The Tonight Show rep said “He is doing fine and kidding around with the hospital staff and running his monologue jokes by the doctors and nurses. He’s expected back to work on Monday.”
There are many rumors flying around that he got hit with food poisoning but nothing is confirmed.
Leno is one of the nicest guys in the business. We wish him a speedy recovery.
