Lin-Manuel Miranda to host Saturday Night Live

Lin-Manuel Miranda has proven that he can do just about anything. Now, we can add Saturday Night Live host to his resume.

The comedy show announced Wednesday that the man behind Hamilton will hot the second episode of the 42nd season.

“SHOUT IT TO THE ROOFTOPS!” SNL tweeted from its official account on Wednesday morning, referencing the song “My Shot” from Miranda’s hit stage production. The Tony Award winning actor will take the stage at Studio 8H alongside musical guest Twenty One Pilots. Following the announcement, Miranda tweeted about his favorite SNLepisode, which aired in 1990 and featured Fred Savage and Technotronic. “Couldn’t believe a kid my age was on SNL,” he wrote. “And SO GOOD.”

Actress Margot Robbie will kick off Saturday Night Live’s new season as host of its Oct. 1 edition with musical guest The Weeknd.

Miranda’s episode of Saturday Night Live airs Oct. 8 at 11:30 p.m. ET on NBC.
