The episode titled “Best Men,” Mitch and Cameron’s gal pal Sal (Banks) returned for a visit. Sal was introduced back in the first season, when her jealousy for their newly adopted daughter Lily reared its ugly head but was resolved by the end of the episode. Now, Sal is back with a secret announcement involving Anthony Lombardo (Masini).

Masini was excited about the opportunity to work with such comedy geniuses, adding, “Everyone was amazing–I could see why they win so many awards.  They’re like a close knit family and invited me right in.  The writers and Director welcomed me to the team and the other cast members were so much fun it was a pleasure being invited to the party”.  The casting director, Jeff Greenberg has always been a fan of mine and I couldn’t ask for a better role to be cast in.   Elizabeth Banks was super cool I’m glad I had the opportunity to work with her.  I hope they bring us back in the future to see what new antics we are up to.”
