Miley Cyrus stopped by Elvis Duran and the Morning Show to sing her new single “Malibu”. I have to say that the song is definitely growing on me. I love this acoustic version.
Miley’s last single was back in 2013. Her new song has a soft and bohemain rock sound to it. She sounds so happy and at peace with this song.
“Malibu” is the first single off her upcoming album of the same name. She wrote the song in an Uber on the way film The Voice, where she’s been a judge since season eleven.
She debuted “Malibu” at KIIS FM’s Wango Tango this past weekend, telling the crowd, “I just want to thank you guys from the bottom of my heart because I really do feel like this is a dream come true, being able to sing this song ‘Malibu’ for all of you all, right here, right now, and I so look forward to continuing to release music that hopefully makes you all smile and dance and be happy and be full of peace and love.”
