Miss Sloane. DVD. Blue-Ray. IMDB pro-rating 7 with a 71% satisfaction from Rotten Tomatoes. John Madden directs, from a screenplay by Jonathan Perera. This makes her the enemy of some radical opposition, putting her life and the lives of the ones she loves, at risk. Stanley Tucci and John Lithgow also star.

Sing. DVD. Blue-Ray. IMDB pro-rating 7.2 with 73% satisfaction. This animated feature of singing animals scored big at the box office. When a man, desperate to save his beloved theater, stages a signing contest in the vein of “The Voice’ some unique animal characters compete for the top prize. Scarlett Johansson, Taron Egerton, Matthew McConaughey, Reese Witherspoon, Seth MacFarlane provide the singing voices.

Live By Night. DVD. Blue-Ray. IMDB pro-rating 6.4 with 35 % customer satisfaction. Directed, and adapted from the book by Dennis LeHane, Ben Affleck also stars as a Boston Gangster during prohibition who is determined to crush anyone who stands in the way of his moving and selling alcohol. Adapted from the original, that was inspired from a video game, even the always entertaining Michael Fassbender, can’t save this man, who travels back into the past to tackle the controlling Knights of the Templar, who seem to still be running things in the present.
