Nashville is not coming back to ABC but its stars Connie Britton and Hayden Penettiere are returning when it comes to CMT but you will see less of Britton.
Britton has only committed to a limited number of episodes this coming season. the number of episodes is unknown but she is expected to end up doing a little more than half of the episodes. Her future with the show is up in the air. Of course Nashville hasn’t been renewed beyond this upcoming fifth season.
In the meantime look at the positive that the show is returning.
