For all you Deal or No Deal fans, this one is right up your alley. Howie Mandel’s new game show will be titled “White Elephant” and is based on a gift giving tradition.
The show will involve 6 contestants who will, one by one, choose from an assortment of wrapped gifts. Each will have the options of trading their gifts, and depending on each individual’s prerogative they will try for something they want or the most expensive. And now that NBC has gotten a hold of White Elephant the stakes will be much higher then the likes of everyone’s office or family’s gift exchange traditions. Contestant will be trading up from ties and goofy knick knacks to millions of dollars worth of prizes.
This game is very similar to his original Deal or no Deal only now there is the added element of unwrapping prizes live on television.
