Neil Patrick Harris will be the hosting the 2012 Tony Awards, announced the producers of the show Tuesday. This will be the How I Met Your Mother star’s third time hosting the awards, once in 2009 and 2011.
“I’m thrilled to be a part of this year’s Tony Awards. Not only will I be shining a spotlight on the best that Broadway has to offer, but hopefully I’ll score some free house seats to a show—or five!” said Harris, in a statement by TheWrap.
The Tony Awards will air June 10 on CBS. Let’s hope Neil Patrick Harris has a outstanding theatrical performance planned for the viewers this year.
