Scandal’s Bellamy Young Hosts Fundraiser to Benefit Homeless Youth in Los Angeles

Bellamy Young Safe Place For Youth

Safe Place for Youth (S.P.Y) gives a face to one of society’s most overlooked populations. Committee host Bellamy Young along with special celebrity guests and artists joined S.P.Y. for a benefit to raise awareness for the homeless youth population right here in LA.

The Face 2 Face fundraiser was held at the Santa Monica Museum of Art featuring select portraits created by local artists through the “Mirror, Mirror” project as well as pieces donated from private collections. The event host committee includes: Gina Belafonte, Robert Berman, Eleana Del Rio, Jodie Evans, Suzy Frank, Tony Ganz, Kenny Harris and Judy Nimtz, Zachary Levi, Robbie and Carol McNeill, Rob and Michele Reiner, Eric Schiff, Christian Slater, Tom Wellington, and Vanessa Williams.

The silent auction featured pieces from the “Mirror, Mirror” project along with merchandise and services from local business, autographed memorabilia and hotel stays.

I had the pleasure of interviewing one of my favorites Bellamy Young from Scandal. I was so excited. I think you can tell in the video. It was so great to be a part of this great cause. The fundraiser was one night but it doesn’t stop there. Log on to their website and see how you can help.
