The Voice announced yesterday it will be welcoming Jennifer Hudson as a coach in the Fall and now today it has been announced Kelly Clarkson is coming next Spring.
Blake Shelton is going to have some country music competition.
Blake went on Facebook Live to make the announcement. The two joked about their awards and beating each other.
Kelly will be joining her bff Blake Shelton and Adam Levine. Now word yet who the fourth judge will be.
Like Jennifer Hudson, Kelly came from American Idol as well so they know how the game works.
“I’m so excited to join The Voice at NBC,” Clarkson said in a statement. “We’ve gone back and forth about a role as a coach for years, but the timing hasn’t been right until now. I have always loved appearing on the show as an adviser or performer and established an amazing relationship with the network during my Christmas special. I can’t wait to turn my chair and see the faces of up-and-coming artists and provide them with the help and support they’ve needed to break into the industry. Watch out Shelton, I’m comin’ to win!!”
I have to say I’m truly excited to see Kelly on! Can’t wait!
