One of my favorite Broadway stars, Sutton Foster will soon be starring in her own TV show. The ABC Family pilot is from Gilmore Girls creator Amy Sherman-Palladino, according to Deadline.com.
In the show, Foster plays Michelle, a Las Vegas showgirl who impulsively marries a man and moves to his sleepy coastal town, taking a role at her mother-in-law’s dance school.
Sutton is a two time Tony Award winner. She is currently starring in Anything Goes on Broadway, for which she won the 2011 Best Actress Tony.
She is an amazing talent it will be great to see her on TV. Congrats Sutton!
