The International Movie Data Base(IMDB) is the industry standard for critical and customer satisfaction.

T2 Trainspotting. DVD. Blue-Ray. Action/Thriller. IMDB pro-rating with 78% satisfaction from Rotten Tomatoes. Director Danny Boyle returns to his roots, in a sequel version of the film that jump started his career. Ewan McGregor has garnered some success in the twenty or so years he’s been AWOL from his London hometown and his friends who had nothing much to live for. When he finally returns, they are all waiting, still self-destructive, still self-loathing and still very dangerous. John Hodge wrote the script that many are calling a missed opportunity. Still, fans are happy to see the old gang, Ewen Bremmer, Robert Carlyle and Jonny Lee Miller.

When a female teacher is taken home for a night of romance by a photographer suitor,  she turns the tables and holds him hostage for a night of bone-chilling terror.. Autopsy of Jane Doe. DVD. Blue-Ray. Horror/Thriller. Andre Ovredal directs from a script by Ian B. Goldberg and Richard Naing. Father and son coroners begin the autopsy of a bizarre woman who has no wounds on the outside, but remnants of a horrible death by stabbing and torture on the inside. Soon it becomes apparent that something more is happening her, as the woman seems to still be alive. Stars Emile Hirsch, Ophelia Lovibond, Olwen Catherine Kelly, Brian Cox and Michael McElhatton.

Chips. DVD. Blue-Ray. Comedy reboot. DVD. Blue-Ray. IMDB pro-rating 5.9 with 16% approval on Rotten Tomatoes. It’s hard to believe this wasn’t more highly regarded with Dax Shepard starring and directing two ‘opposite’ cops, one a former biker trying to get his life together, and one and undercover FBI agent investigating an inside job. Sounds good to me and with Michael Pena, Kristen Bell, Adam Brody, and Vincent D’Onofrio, what’s not to like?
