‘The Circle’, ‘How to be a Latin Lover’, ‘Sleight’ Open Wide April 28.

The ‘Fate of the Fast and Furious’ could actually be top box office for April 28, despite valiant efforts by Tom Hands and Emma Watson’s,  ‘The Circle’.



The International Movie Data Base (IMDB) is the industry standard for critical and customer satisfaction.

The Circle. A PG-13 Thrillerish Sci-Fi-ish with an IMDB pro-rating of 6.5. You can never go wrong with Tom Hanks and Emma Watson. Directed, and written by James Ponsoldt and Dave Eggers, this modern thriller involves a young girl being offered the ‘opportunity of a lifetime’, to work for the top Technology and Information Corporation in the world. But, as she rises, she learns of the dangers they are creating for herself, her family and the world as The Circle begins to cross privacy boundary lines. Bill Paxton and John Boyega, also star.

How to be a Latin Lover. A PG-13 Comedy with no ratings, yet. Directed by Ken Marino. Eugenio Derbez stars as a man who has lived most of his life as a rich spoiled ‘Boy Toy’ to a much older woman. He is blindsided when she, at 80 years old, dumps him for a younger man. He is out on the streets, desperately searching for a new Sugar Momma, but with no place to live, he moves in with his sister (Salma Hayek) and her young son. He begins to bond with the boy, and learns that being a Latin Lover is not as fulfilling as being loved and appreciated by your won family. Rob Lowe, Rob Riggle, Kristen Bell, also star.

Sleight. Sci-Fi. Magic. IMDB pro-rating 5.4. A street magician takes to selling drugs and petty crime to feed his family, but when his sister is kidnapped, he must use his magic powers to save her life. Jacob Latimore, Dule Hill, Seychelle Gabriel, Storm Reid.
