The Decision that Changed the “Future”

Special Correspondent: James Jewett

1985 a movie called “Back to the Future” was released and boyish lead Micheal J. Fox played the character of Marty McFly.

This could have not been our reality today as The Hollywood Reporter
lets us know that Marty McFly was originally to be played by Eric Stoltz. This game changing switch is apart of the “Back to the Future 25th Anniversary Trilogy” to be released on Blu-Ray on Oct. 26.

Steven Spielberg and Robert Zemeckis were  five weeks into shooting when Zemeckis decided Stoltz wasn’t delivering the kind of McFly they wanted. After speaking with Spielberg the two switched over to Fox to complete the duo of McFly and “Doc” (Christopher Lloyd).
