‘The Foreigner’ ‘Marshall’ and ‘Happy Death Day’ Open October 13.

The Foreigner. Crime/Thriller. IMDB pro-rating 7.5 with an 86% score from Rotten Tomatoes. A London businessman, Jackie Chan, with a criminal past, loses his daughter in a vendetta terrorist attack and seeks to find the killers. He teams up with Government Official, Pierce Brosnan, whose own secret past holds clues to the murder.

Marshall. True Story. IMDB pro-rating 5.9 with an 83% score from Rotten Tomatoes. Chadwick Boseman (Marvel’s Black Panther) stars as a young Thurgood Marshall, who takes on the case of a man accused of rape and killing a white woman (Kate Hudson) in Connecticut for the NAACP. Directed by Reginald Hudlin, it also stars Sterling K. Brown and Josh Gad.

Happy Death Day. IMDB pro-rating 6.2 with a90% Google satisfaction score. A blumhouse Production, directed by Christopher B. Landon, from a script by Scott Lobdell. In a story reminiscent of Groundhog Day, only aimed at Horror Genre fans, a young woman, Jessica Rothe, is murdered in her lover’s bed, then relieves the night before, then wakes up dead again. This cycle keeps repeating until she figures out who t he murderer is. Israel Broussand, and Ruby Modine, also star.
