The Lady In The Van. Based on the true story and play by Alan Bennett. Maggie Smith(Downton Abbey), reprises her role as a homeless woman who comes to live in her van in the driveway of playwright Alan Bennett (pl;ayed by Alex Jennings). It’s got a 97% approval on Rotten Tomatoes, with talk of an Oscar for Maggie Smith.
Krampus. PG-13 Horror film about a young boy who accidentally conjures up a demon Santa Claus for Christmas. Adam Scott, Toni Collette and David Koechner, star.
Chi-Raq. Spike Lee’s Urban drama inspired by the Persephone Greek Legend, about women in Chicago who withhold sex from their men until the violence ends. Nick Cannon, Teyonah Parris, Samuel Jackson and Wesley Snipes star.
MI-5. This is NOT Mission Impossible 5, but it is an R rated film with Action, Drama and Thrills about a disgraced agent who must stop a terrorist. Kit Harington (Game of Thrones), Peter Firth and Jennifer Ehle star.
