Well, after months of speculation as to when the second theatrical trailer for Justin Lin’s ‘Star Trek Beyond’ would hit, it debuted tonight at a fan event in Los Angeles, CA. Let’s face it, there wasn’t even a lukewarm response to the initial teaser trailer that was released back in December of last year, but the fact of the matter is, the director, Lin, had zero input on that one.
So now, after months of having many sleepless nights in the editing bays at Paramount Pictures, Lin finally got to release his version of what he hopes will convince not only die-hard Trekkies to remain calm, and excited for the film, but also keep all the newer fans interested who had enjoyed the previous two films directed by JJ Abrams.
And I must say, it looks EPIC!!!!! Enjoy Trekkers/Trekkies…..
Thoughts? It has been speculated the introduction of this trailer will kick off a very extensive marketing push for the film leading up to its nationwide July 22nd release date, so stay tuned for more updates as we get them!!
