After-all, we know mummies are real, and we know their job is to come back to life, no better way to do that is on the big screen. Tom Cruise is a treasure seeking, tomb digger. He inadvertently uncovers the tomb of the ancient Queen Ahmanet (Sofia Boutella), who was unjustly killed and rob of her throne. The Queen is not happy, and now she has a chance to inflict her revenge, with powers that surpass mankind. Directed by Alex Kurtzman, written by Christopher McQuarrie, Dylan Kutzman and David Koe, it also stars Russell Crowe, Courtney B. Vance, Marwan Kenzari and Jake Johnson.
