For those looking for a nice escape on Halloween in the form of Halloween movie marathons, then take a look at our list below of what classic Halloween flicks will be on this Saturday, and where to find them:

October 31st- Marathons and TV Network listings–

AMC– AMC’s “Fear Fest” will be showing most of the Micheal Myer’s Halloween films starting with the original 1979 John Carpenter flick at 2:30 p.m. eastern daylight time on the 31st…. That being said, do not skip over the 3rd entry in the series “Halloween 3: Season of the Witch”, which not only leaves out the character of Micheal Myers, but inserts a very original, dark and creepy storyline that flew under the radar back in 1982!

IFC- Nothing bests a good ole Freddy Krueger marathon as IFC will be showing Wes Craven’s original “A Nightmare on Elm St.” along with the remaining sequels up through 9:30 p.m.

ABC Family- Their not overtly scary marathon of flicks will include the likes of Tim Burton’s “Batman”, “Batman Returns”, as well as Bette Midler in “Hocus Pocus”, and ending the day will be “The Nightmare Before Christmas”

Sundance TV- A Stephen King marathon will commence at 8 a.m. and showcase “Thinner”, “Silver Bullet”, “Firestarter”, “Cujo”, “Pet Cemetary”, “It”, and last but not least “The Shining”….

Syfy- A more recent horror classic, “The Conjuring”, starring Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson, portraying the real life paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Newman will air at 9 p.m.

Have a safe and happy Halloween from all of us at Mizhollywood.com!!!
