Whitney Houston, who was known as “the voice” until drug abuse and her crazy marriage to singer Bobby Brown took her away from the spotlight has died. She was 48.
Publicist Kristen Foster said Saturday that the singer had died, but the cause and the location of her death were unknown.
Not much is known at this time. Whitney was at the Beverly Hilton Hotel to perform at Clive Davis’ Grammy party. She was found there at that hotel. Police arrived there and tried to resuscitate her but failed. At 3:55pm this afternoon, Whitney Houston was pronounced dead.
Very sad. My heart goes out to her family and to her daughter. I hope her daughter doesn’t go down the same road and gets help.
