Two amazing, hilarious people from SNL are finally together on screen in The House!
Two loving parents played by Amy Poehler and Will Ferrell decide to turn their house into an illegal casino to fund their daughter’s college education in the first trailer for The House.
After Scott and Kate Johansen (Will Ferrell and Amy Poehler) lose their daughter Alex’s college fund, they become desperate to earn it back so she can pursue her dream of attending a university. With the help of their neighbor Frank (Jason Mantzoukas), they decide to start an illegal casino in the basement of his house.
The comedy also stars Ryan Simpkins (Arcadia) as Scott and Kate’s college hopeful daughter, Alex, along with Nick Kroll (Vacation, TV’s Kroll Show), Jessie Ennis (TV’s Veep and Better Call Saul), Rob Huebel (Horrible Bosses 2, TV’s Transparent), Lennon Parham (Playing House) and Cedric Yarbrough (TV’s Reno 911!). The ensemble cast is rounded out by Michaela Watkins, Alison Tolman and Andrea Savage.
This may be a hit for Will Ferrell it’s been a while since he had a great movie.
