Fargo, North Dakota morning radio hosts Jesse James and Amanda Lea got the surprise of their careers when Rosie O’Donnell from ABC’s The View called in live to their Big 98.7 FM morning radio show.
The two radio hosts were discussing whether Rosie’s so called flub of calling her show “The Talk”, instead of “The View”, was really a joke or an accident. They got the surprise of a lifetime when Rosie called in to defend herself and ending up giving a spontaneous on-air interview.
Said Jesse James, who also wears the cap of program director, said it was the best interview he ever did, and praised Rosie for her honesty and forthright manner.
Amanda Lea admitted she was intimidated when she heard ‘the’ Rosie O’Donnell was on the line but soon realized she was nothing like the aggressive New York persona she sometimes emulates.
The trio struck up such a great rapport that Rosie invited them to come and hang out on the set and be in the studio audience for the February 2 show.
