As I reported earlier Oprah is making an announcement tomorrow on The Oprah Winfrey Show that the show is coming to an end in 2011.
Here are my thoughts. Oprah has started her own network Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN). We hear that the execs over there had given her an ultimatum that they need to start quickly on the network and she needs to make a decision on cutting ties with other networks and come over to OWN. Oprah has been doing her show in Chicago since the beginning but we also here that the execs at OWN told her she has to do the show from Los Angeles. If that’s true Oprah I’m available for employment. She has said before she is in Chicago for a reason. She likes being away from Hollywood.
So to wrap things up we don’t think the show is over just transitioning to a new network…we hope. This is a day I have been dreading so I hope it will continue in some way or another.
