The interesting point is that the show won’t air on CBS, it will be on the company’s $5.99/month All-Access digital subscription channel. This is the second new series going to the website, following a new Star Trek series which is set to premier in 2017.
“There will be more series coming but by starting with these two we’re creating a wide range of original content for CBS All Access,” CBS CEO Leslie Moonves said in making the announcement on the upfront stage Wednesday.
If you remember in the Good Wife finale the door was left open for more stories for the characters. The show left off with Diane slapping Alicia Florick (Julianna Margulies) which really put an end to the all-female firm. It also left us with doubts that Diane’s marriage would continue following the truth about his infidelity.
