Movies debuting in March aren’t starting off with much of a bang, but ‘Chappie’, the Sci-Fi follow-up to District 9, the comedy ‘Unfinished Business’ and the sequel to the ‘Best Exotic Marigold Hotel’ get things started. Cinderella and Divergent, coming soon.
Chappie – starring Hugh Jackman, Sigourney Weaver, Dev Patel and Sharlto Copley (from District 9) is currently showing an 8.7 critical and customer satisfaction on IMDB. Set in the near future, a mechanized robotic police force patrols the streets and deals with lawbreakers. The people have decided to fight back. When a police droid is stolen and given new programming, he acquires the ability to feel and think for himself. While the robot, dubbed “Chappie (Sharlto Copley),” puzzles out human behavior, the authorities begin to see him as a danger to mankind and they will stop at nothing to ensure that Chappie destroyed and is the last of his kind.
Unfinished Business is a comedy starring Vince Vaughn as a salesman who takes his team with him on a business trip to Europe that goes very wrong. Tom Wilkinson and Dave Franco also star.
The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. A great ensemble cast and beautiful scenery add to the upbeat charm of this sequel, and star Richard Gere shakes things up as a handsome traveler who comes for a visit. Maggie Smith, Dame Judi Dench, Bill Nighy, Dev Patel.
