ATTENTION!!!! Ed Sheeran is heading to Westeros!!! As if we weren’t excited enough for season 7 of Game of Thrones.

During a panel at SXSW moderated by BFFs Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams along with the showrunners, David Benioff and Dan Weiss revealed that the singer will be stopping by. They didn’t go into details about how long Ed will be on or when.

Maisie is a huge Ed Sheeran fan and they wanted to have him on because of her.

“For years we were trying to get Ed Sheeran on the show to surprise Maisie and this year we finally did it,” Benioff explained to the audience.

It’s a win win as Ed is a huge Game of Thrones fan. We will have to wait and see where and when he will pop up.
