‘FEUD’ is FUN with Leading Divas, Susan Sarandon and Jessica Lange. Sundays 10pm on FX

If you haven’t indulged in the sweet treat FEUD: Bette and Joan,  it’s not too late!

The International Movie Data Base (IMDB) is the industry standard for critical and customer satisfaction.

FEUD: Bette and Joan. Sundays, 10pm on the FX network. IMDB pro-rating 8.7 with a 91 % satisfaction from Rotten Tomatoes. Ryan Murphy, producer of American Horror Story has a winner with this clever and delicious biopic of the feuding, fading superstars of Hollywood, as they fight for survival while making the classic Horror film, What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?  Ryan Murphy not only produced, but takes a creator credit on all 8 episodes, along with writers Jaffe Cohen, Michael Zam, Gina Welch and Tim Minear.

The great Alfred Molina as director Robert Burgess Aldrich, trying to make a comeback amidst the warring divas, has never been better. I’ll be looking for him to pick up a Globe, for sure.

Stanley Tucci licks his chops, as studio head Jack L. Warner, and Judy Davis is spellbinding as gossip columnist dictator, Hedda Hopper.                              Catherine Zeta Jones and Kathy Bates also make glamorous cameos.

It is the two leading ladies, Jessica Lange as the conniving egomaniac Joan Crawford, and Susan Sarandon as the dedicated artist, fading Oscar star, that steal the show. Just as Baby Jane tortured her paraplegic sister, and Bette serves dead canary to Joan, Susan and Jessica are the supreme sizzling bitch duo, each relishing every tidbit of pain inflicted upon the other. It’s magic no psychological thriller movie or TV fan should miss!
