Per Variety, Jack Nicholson will be coming out of retirement to star in the English-language remake of “Toni Erdmann.” This will be his first feature film since 2007, in which he starred opposite Morgan Freeman in “The Bucket List.” It was also announced that Nicholson’s co-star for Toni Erdmann will be none other than Kristin Wiig.
Either way, this is fantastic news as it was just reported a few weeks ago that Nicholson had no plans to come out of retirement at all. Bottom line? Hollywood is better served when good ole Jack is still starring in feature films! He’s a generational talent and a national treasure in my book. Nuff said.
