Horror story ‘The Visit’, and thriller ‘The Perfect Guy’, in theaters September 11.
M. Night Shyamalan writes and directs The Visit. When two young children are sent to Pennsylvania to visit there Nana and PopPop for the first time, they uncover a terrible ‘horrorable’ secret the grandparents are concealing, leading to the realization that they might not be going home anytime soon. Blumhouse produces, with Kathryn Hahn, Ed Oxenbould, Peter McRobbie, Olivia DeJonge, Deanna Dunagan and Benjamin Kones.
The Perfect Guy offers up thrills and chills as a seemingly, ‘has it all’ woman (Sanaa Lathan) learns her long time romance fiance isn’t considering marriage and a family. With a good job as a lobbyist, the woman breaks off the engagement and heads out to find The Perfect Guy. Things are going well until she learns about his dark, very dark side. Michael Ealy, Morris Chestnut and Kathryn Morris also star. Screenpaly by Tyger Williams and Barbara Curry.
