A few months before the big announcement of the project, Jim Carrey removed himself from the sequal “Dumb and Dumber.”
According to ET, Carrey became fustrated that New Line and Warner Brothers’ were not as excited for the filming of the project.
The shooting date was already set. In April, director Peter Farrelly had announced that the sequal would start shooting in September.
It is unknown if the project will still continue without Carrey’s participation.
Although Carrey has stepped down on the “Dumber” project, the actor is still involved with New Line and Warner Brothers in their film “The Incredible Burt Wonderstone.”
