Hard to believe it’s been 40 years since the release of ‘Saturday Night Fever,’ but on May 2nd, Paramount Pictures will commemorate the anniversary by re-releasing the classic film on Blu-ray/DVD, as well as a two day re-release in select theaters across the country. Even better, this will be the first time a director’s cut has been featured for the film, that will include an additional four minutes worth of scenes.

The Saturday Night Fever Blu-ray includes both the Director’s Cut and theatrical version of the film, commentary by director John Badham, a five-part look at the film entitled “Catching the Fever,” deleted scenes, behind-the-scenes featurettes, a ‘70s Discopedia, and more.
