Marking the first music video ever to be filmed with IMAX cameras, Adele’s debut single, Hello, off her brand-new album, 25, drops today. The music video was directed by acclaimed filmmaker Xavier Dolan.

Dolan joins an elite group of today’s most prominent Hollywood Directors that have had the chance to use IMAX cameras, including Christopher Nolan and J.J. Abrams. The cameras used in Adele’s Hello video have been featured on films such as Interstellar, The Dark Knight, Hunger Games: Catching Fire and the upcoming highly-anticipated blockbuster, Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Dolan leveraged IMAX cameras to film portions of the video. IMAX cameras are the highest resolution film cameras in the world – capturing images at up to 18K resolution or approximately 100x the resolution as your home HDTV.
