Alan Thicke‘s official cause of death has been revealed.
The actor died of a “ruptured aorta” and a “standard type A aortic dissection,” according to his official death certificate.
A surgical procedure was made though he did not survive. His time of death was listed at 2:14 p.m.
He also had a type A aortic dissection is a tear beginning in the ascending aorta which progresses throughout the vessel. Symptoms include a sudden onset of severe chest or back pain, and may include vomiting, sweating and lightheadedness.
