‘Before Midnight’ and ‘The Conjuring’ Top DVD Releases For Oct. 22.

CONJURING

The Conjuring. DVD. Blue-Ray. IMDb Pro-rating 7.6. Rotten Tomatoes gives it an 87% customer satisfaction. It was the highest opening boxoffice ever for a supernatural-horror film with high praise for the creepy scare factor. Two paranormal (husband and wife) specialists, played by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga are called to an old farmhouse where a dark presence has taken hold of a family.

BEFORE MIDNIGHT

Before Midnight. DVD. Blue-Ray. IMDb Pro-rating 8.3, with a 97% customer satisfaction from Rotten Tomatoe viewers. Julie Delpy and Ethan Hawke reprise their romantic roles from Before Sunrise and Before  Sunset, to continue the love, marriage and long-term relationship discussion.

WAY WAY BACK

The Way, Way Back. DVD. Blue-Ray. IMDB Pro-rating 7.6. When a shy 14-year old boy goes on a vacation with his Mom and her overbearing boyfriend, he learns to laugh and be himself when he meets a carefree owner of a waterpark. Toni Collette, Steve, Carell star in the funny and heart-warming story.

INTERNSHIP

The Internship. DVD. Blue-Ray. IMDb Pro-rating 6.4. A disappointing follow-up to The Wedding Crashers, Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson are two salesmen who have lost their jobs and are starting over as interns at Google.

ONLY GOD

Only God Forgives. DVD. Blue-Ray. IMDb Pro-rating 6.1. A crime thriller with Rayn Gosling and Kristen Scott Thomas about a drug smuggler in Asia who’s mother puts on the pressure for him to find his brothers killer. Violence abounds.

WAITING ROM

The Waiting Room. DVD. Documentary about Health Care.

NIKITA

Nikita: Third Season. DVD. IMDB Pro-rating 7.5. Espionage drama TV series based on the french film about a female drug addict who is arrested and is forced to fake her own death and be trained as a government deadly assassin.
