Last night was one of the biggest night’s for country music! It was jam packed full of performances and once again hosted by Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley.
Some of the highlights included Dolly Parton winning the Willie Nelson LifeTime Achievement Award along with a song tribute. Pentatonix teamed with Jennifer Nettles for an acapella “Jolene,” Reba McEntire belted out “9 to 5,” Kacey Musgraves took “Here You Come Again,” and Martina McBride and Carrie Underwood joined the group for a closing “I Will Always Love You.”
Beyonce they joined the Dixie Chicks on stage for one of my favorites from Lemonade, “Daddy Lessons.” The Dixie Chicks haven’t performed on TV in quite a long time. This was amazing.
